Hear: A Family Concert: The Story of Babar at the Kimmel Center (at Philadelphia)
Please check the Web site for updated information.

With a pre-concert adventure beginning at 10:00 A.M., the Kimmel Center and the Philadelphia Orchestra offer families the chance to enjoy fine arts, no matter the age of attendees. The Perelman Theater will open to those with reservations on Saturday morning to allow children to enjoy “interactive exploration in a fun way to get into the music [they] will hear at the concert.” Following the pre-concert event, a live show at Verizon Hall will begin at 11:30 A.M., featuring the musical talents of our city’s orchestra in The Story of Babar. Families can also purchase tickets to this kiddie-friendly extravaganza as part of the Center’s “Family Collection” or the “Family Concert Series,” in which several performances are bundled for family shows.
