Sing: German Volkslieder Sing-Along at the German Society of Pennsylvania (at Philadelphia)
Please check the Web site for updated information.

As part of a weeklong celebration of events, the German Society of Pennsylvania will host a German Volkslieder Sing-Along for those of all ages. Words to famous German songs will be displayed on a large screen, with a projector and PowerPoint presentation, and the audience is asked to get involved by singing along to some authentic favorites. In honor of October 6, which is German-American Heritage Day (as set by President Ronald Reagan in 1983), Philadelphia’s society takes this time to celebrate the occasion with style and fanfare. It is particularly suggested that children of reading age attend, since text will be presented on the screen, though everyone is certain to get a kick out of tapping their toes to the music.
